"Yoshie" Zudov - Football Player
Born in September 1996, Iosif Zudov, more commonly known as Yoshie, was always going to be a soccer great.
Even as a child, he displayed incredible athleticism for his young years. Yoshie did not start playing soccer until 2003 when he was scouted by a friend's dad and invited to join a local club.
Progressing rapidly, he caught his coach's eye and quickly rose through the grades to make it into the top age-group team in his first year. Everyone recognised his talent but what shocked people most was his determination; he was and is, a very passionate player.
Young player going places
Yoshie knows he has what it takes to achieve his sporting goals but he never takes the easy way out. He has always worked hard, even as a seven-year-old kid learning to juggle with his first ball.
His neighbour at the time pointed Yoshie out to his son as an example "You watch him, that kid's going places".
Yoshie received player's Scholarship with National Training Centre, Football Federation Victoria. It is only the second case in the history of FFV - getting a scholarship at the age of 13!
